What We Do

Dental implantation involves inserting a special fixture into the bone tissue to replace a missing tooth. The procedure starts with the placement of a titanium pin by the dentist, followed by the attachment of a crown that mimics the appearance of a natural tooth. Dental implants provide a complete restoration of both the functional and aesthetic aspects of a real tooth. There are various types of dental implants, catering to different needs and conditions:

  • Root-like implants: This is the most common type used when there is sufficient healthy bone tissue to support the implant.
  • Lamellar implants: These have a plate-like shape and are used to restore the front row when there is limited bone tissue available for a root implant.
  • Combined implants: These are used in complex situations, such as after serious oral injuries or accidents.
  • Subperiosteal implants: These are utilized when the condition of the bone tissue is not optimal.
  • Mini-implants: These are used for temporary structures to enhance aesthetics.

Regardless of the type of implant used, dental implants provide a functional and aesthetically pleasing replacement for missing teeth.

Laser treatment has revolutionized dentistry as an innovative method for various procedures. Using a powerful laser, dentists can target both the tooth's hard tissues, such as the enamel and bone, as well as the soft tissues. This versatile treatment option is suitable for:

  • Treating caries and periodontitis: The laser can remove affected areas, eliminating germs and bacteria, making it an effective option for treating tooth decay and gum diseases.
  • Teeth whitening: Laser-assisted teeth whitening can achieve significant whitening results, brightening teeth by 7-10 shades. This is particularly beneficial for individuals with sensitive teeth as it minimizes discomfort compared to traditional mechanical whitening methods.
  • Correcting speech defects: The laser is often used to carefully trim the frenulum of the tongue, recommended by a doctor to address certain speech disorders.
  • Removing benign tumors: Laser treatment is a painless and efficient method for removing benign tumors in the oral cavity, providing a swift resolution to these issues.

Endodontic treatment, also known as root canal treatment, focuses on eliminating infection from the root canals and preventing disease recurrence. This crucial procedure plays a significant role in maintaining oral health, as the root is the foundation of the tooth. By preserving the health of the root, it becomes easier and more cost-effective to address any other dental issues. Endodontics is commonly used in the following cases:

  • Pulpitis: Inflammation of the tooth's inner tissue, often caused by bacteria from a cavity. Pulpitis is associated with severe pain, particularly during meals, consumption of cold beverages, and at night. If left untreated, this condition can lead to tooth decay and eventual loss.
  • Periodontitis: Inflammation in the tissues surrounding the tooth root, resulting from an infection in the jawbone. Various dental tissue diseases can contribute to periodontitis. It causes intense throbbing pain, especially during meals.

To achieve a Hollywood smile, various aspects of the teeth and smile need to be improved. These include:

  • Teeth color: The smile should ideally be bright and uniformly white. Teeth whitening treatments, such as professional bleaching, can be used to achieve a whiter smile.
  • Facial harmony: The positioning of the teeth should follow the "golden ratio" rule, where the corners of the eyes align with the corners of the lips when smiling.
  • Proportional tooth size: The size and shape of the teeth should be proportionate, with the front teeth appearing larger and the back teeth gradually decreasing in size.

Veneers are thin overlays that are placed on the surface of teeth to enhance their appearance. E-Max veneers are considered one of the best options available due to several reasons:

  • Durability: E-Max veneers are highly resistant to damage, making them long-lasting and less prone to chipping or cracking.
  • Aesthetics: The goal of veneers is to achieve a natural-looking smile. E-Max veneers are designed to closely match the color, size, and structure of natural teeth, resulting in a beautiful and seamless appearance.
  • Thinness: The thickness of veneers is an important factor, as it determines the amount of tooth enamel that needs to be removed during the preparation process. E-Max veneers are known for being one of the thinnest options available, which means less enamel removal and a faster procedure.
  • Stain resistance: One common concern with veneers is their susceptibility to staining from food and beverages. E-Max veneers are highly resistant to staining, allowing them to maintain their aesthetic appeal for a longer period of time.

Lumineers are a type of veneers that offer several advantages compared to traditional veneers:

  • Minimal preparation: Lumineers are extremely thin, typically around 0.2 mm, which allows them to be placed on teeth without the need for significant enamel removal. As a rule, the thickness of lumineers does not exceed 0.2 mm, which is 2-3 times thinner than most veneers, this means that the natural tooth structure is preserved, and the procedure is minimally invasive and reversible.
  • Longevity: Lumineers have a longer lifespan compared to many other veneer options. With proper care and maintenance, they can last up to 20 years (while veneers last 2-3 times less - about 7-10 years), providing a durable and long-lasting solution for improving the appearance of teeth.
  • Enhanced natural appearance: The thinness of Lumineers makes it easier to achieve a natural-looking result. Their translucent quality allows them to mimic the appearance of natural teeth more closely, resulting in a beautiful and seamless smile.
  • Customization: Lumineers are custom-made to fit each individual's teeth and desired outcome. They can be tailored to match the shape, size, and color of the patient's existing teeth, ensuring a personalized and natural-looking result.

Teeth Whitening is a procedure aimed at improving the shade of tooth enamel. White teeth are subconsciously associated with healthy teeth and are considered more beautiful. There are many ways of bleaching:

  • Laser: One of the most effective and painless methods. Teeth can be whitened quickly and efficiently by 7-10 shades with a laser. Prior to the procedure, the patient's teeth are cleaned of tartar and soft plaque to ensure a high-quality result.
  • Ultrasonic: This method is suitable for patients with thin enamel and increased tooth sensitivity. The procedure involves several gentle whitening sessions, each lasting about 30 minutes.
  • Photo-bleaching: This procedure uses a special whitening gel with hydrogen peroxide. It is not the most gentle option as peroxide can have a negative impact on tooth enamel. However, the method is quite effective, allowing for teeth to be whitened by 8-10 shades.

Zirconium, also known as white steel, is a material widely used in dentistry due to its exceptional strength. Here are some important properties and uses of zirconium:

  • Strength: Zirconium is incredibly strong, even surpassing steel in some studies. This makes it an ideal material for veneers and crowns, as it does not deteriorate or crack easily, ensuring long-lasting and durable dental restorations.
  • Hypoallergenic: Zirconium is hypoallergenic, making it a preferred choice for patients who may have allergies to other dental metals. Its biocompatibility ensures that it is well-tolerated by the body and reduces the risk of allergic reactions
  • Aesthetic Appearance: Zirconium veneers closely mimic the color and structure of natural teeth, making them almost indistinguishable. The material is light and thin, providing a natural and aesthetically pleasing result.
  • Minimally Invasive: Zirconium restorations often require minimal preparation of the supporting teeth, resulting in a less traumatic procedure. This is particularly beneficial for individuals with thin or sensitive enamel, as it helps preserve the natural tooth structure.

Dental Treatment

1

Before the Operation

3D Scan: A 3D scan of the entire bite is done to accurately assess the condition of the teeth and identify any problems that need correction. This method provides a detailed and precise diagnostic image, especially useful for bite correction and installing crowns.

Anesthesia: If necessary, anesthesia is administered before the procedure to ensure the patient's comfort.

2

During the Operation

Teeth Cleaning: The dentist performs a thorough cleaning to remove tartar and soft plaque. This step is essential for assessing the teeth's condition and preventing future dental issues. It is particularly important when installing veneers or braces to ensure a reliable connection between the dental structures and the teeth, aiding in bite correction.

Procedure: The chosen dental procedure is carried out after the teeth cleaning process.

3

After the Operation

Consultation: The patient receives post-operative instructions and advice from the dentist. This may include recommendations for toothpaste, toothbrush, and general dental care. Following these guidelines is crucial for maintaining dental health and reducing the need for frequent dental visits.

Preventive Measures: The dentist may suggest the use of plastic protection for teeth during sleep and monitoring the temperature and consistency of food. These precautions help safeguard the teeth and minimize potential damage.

Frequently asked questions

  • WHAT ARE E-MAX VENEERS MADE OF?

They are made of glass ceramics, 70% consisting of lithium disilicate crystals. Due to the special properties of the light transmission of the material, the color of such veneers is almost identical to the natural shade of enamel and that is why they merge with neighboring teeth.

There are 2 types of E-Max material processing: Press and CAD. The first is characterized by increased strength and a variety of shades, used for the production of ultra-thin veneers and bridges up to 3 units. The second one is inferior in strength, but much more affordable, only single crowns and standard veneers are made using this technology.

  • IS THE E-MAX MATERIAL SAFE FOR THE BODY?

Yes, this has been proven by many years of practice. Glass ceramics have neutral properties and do not cause rejection by the body`s immune system. It is biocompatible with the tissues of the gums and teeth, so it is extremely safe and retains its qualities for many years. To date, no cases of allergic reaction or development of pathology caused by the use of this material have been identified.

  • WHICH IS BETTER: ZIRCONIUM OR E-MAX?

It all depends on the application area. It is better to install E-Max on the front teeth, since it surpasses its competitor in aesthetic qualities and there is no need to create a frame for it. On the other hand, zirconium itself is stronger (if not lined), so it is used in the manufacture of bridges and prosthetics with implants in the area of chewing teeth.

  • WHAT IS ZIRCONIUM?

Zirconium is a natural mineral which dioxide is actively used in various fields of medicine. Due to its rigidity and strength, it has been used for many years to manufacture a variety of prostheses, including dental ones. It is used in the creation of frames for implants, abutments and crowns.

It is a versatile material that is easy to process. Zirconium can be given almost any shape, but at the same time it is quite reliable, and products made of it are guaranteed to last from 10 to 20 years. In addition, it has a low thermal conductivity, which protects the teeth from temperature fluctuations.

  • IS ZIRCONIUM SAFE FOR THE BODY?

Sure. Zirconium dioxide is extremely inert in its physico-chemical parameters. It does not contribute to the occurrence of allergies, galvanization or the immune response of the body. It is perfectly embedded not only in specially prepared cavities, but also on the remains of natural teeth.

  • WHAT SHADES OF VENEERS CAN BE INSTALLED?

For a long time, the snow-white color of teeth was in fashion, but now there is a noticeable trend for natural tones. To ensure an accurate selection of the shade of the micro prosthesis, dentists have developed a special veneer color chart. It consists of 4 color classes, each of which has a letter designation:

    • Red-brown;
    • Red-yellow;
    • Gray;
    • Red-gray.

Classes, in turn, are divided into 4 shades (according to the degree of brightness), each of which is assigned a number from 1 to 4. As a result, 16 different tones are available to clients to achieve maximum naturalness of implants.

  • Does it hurt to install veneers?

No. There are well-developed rules for installing microprostheses, involving required anesthesia. But there may be a slight discomfort when dissecting the enamel of a natural tooth or gum retraction. At the same time, the procedure takes place quickly enough and most often the patient does not have time to focus on unpleasant sensations.

  • Do veneers need to be bleached?

This cannot be done, but it is not forbidden to use professional cleaning. The material from which veneers are made does not change its color throughout the entire service life. Most often, darkening occurs due to lack of proper dental care, as well as abuse of coloring drinks (coffee, tea, etc.) or products.

A defect of the veneers is also possible, in this case it is necessary to consult a doctor for timely replacement. You need to clean them very carefully, without strong pressure, and also do not use cleaning products that include abrasive substances.

  • What`s the difference between veneers and lumineers? Which one is better?

Veneers are the basic version of ceramic plates, the size of which ranges from 0.5 to 1.2 mm. Such pads are attached to the surface of the teeth subjected to preliminary turning. Due to this effect, the enamel is thinned and their sensitivity increases.

Lumineers are coverings made using a new advanced technology. Their thickness does not exceed 0.3 mm. They are absolutely safe for enamel, and with proper care can last up to 20 years. But because of their features, they can hide only small cracks, slight curvature and yellowness of the teeth. In addition, lumineers are significantly more expensive.

  • How long does it take to create a Hollywood smile?

A lot depends on the specific characteristics and state of human health. The effect can be achieved only after several visits to the dentist. If there are no problems the whole procedure can take 4-5 days, but as a rule it takes up to 2 weeks.

  • How long does the result of a Hollywood smile last?

With proper maintenance the effect will remain throughout the entire service life of veneers (about 20 years). They do not change their shape, color and transparency. Possible darkening or turbidity is most often the result of regular eating coloring products and drinks (coffee, tea, etc). If such a problem occurs, it is enough to use professional teeth cleaning.

  • What is the difference between professional and home teeth whitening?

The procedure of professional whitening is carried out by a doctor in a dental clinic using special equipment and preparations. It is much more expensive, but also significantly more efficient. There are several types of whitening : cabinet whitening, chemical whitening, laser whitening, intra-channel whitening and photo whitening.

Cosmetic effects on teeth are performed at home, and equipment for it is usually purchased at a pharmacy. This is a more gentle procedure, in which caps, strips, gels, varnishes and pastes with less active components are used, than in professional bleaching. That is why the home whitening is more affordable.

  • Is it possible to whiten fillings and crowns?

No. The features of the materials they consist of do not allow effectively bleaching fillings and crowns. Of course, you can whiten the teeth themselves, but then the aesthetic component of the procedure will be lost, because the difference in color will be very striking. In addition, such an impact leads to a weakening of the tooth enamel, which means a recurrence of caries. So it is necessary to consult a doctor beforehand and evaluate the prospects of bleaching.

  • How long does the result last after teeth whitening?

It depends on the patient`s lifestyle and compliance with the doctor`s recommendations. In addition, the more the enamel was lightened, the longer the effect will last. With proper dental care, the results of professional whitening will be visible for 3-4 years. If you ignore the prescribed restrictions, the effect will last only a couple of months.

  • What kind of food can I eat after teeth whitening?

It is recommended to focus on products that do not contain coloring pigments: white meat, white fish, egg white, potatoes, butter and sunflower oil, boiled rice, pasta, porcini mushrooms, light vegetables and fruits, boiled cabbage, transparent drinks.

Sweets, sauces, most spices, herbs, vinegars, marinades and products containing acids and an abundance of sugar, as well as coffee, tea and colored drinks are banned. Such a diet should be followed for 5 days after the whitening procedure.
