What is VASER-liposuction
VASER is a modern technique developed by American specialists. This is the latest method of liposuction, which,
thanks to modern technology, minimizes tissue damage during surgery. As a result, the effect becomes much better
noticeable, and rehabilitation takes much less time. In addition, VASER liposuction makes it possible to sculpt.
That is, with its help, you can make the "cubes" so desired by many on your stomach.
A feature of the procedure is the use of ultrasound. Thanks to him, fat deposits are broken down most
effectively.
At the same time, nerve endings and blood vessels are not damaged during the operation. Thus, it is possible to
avoid the appearance of hematomas and a decrease in sensitivity.
What is the difference
During VASER-liposuction, thin, up to 3 mm, probes are inserted into the patient`s body, through which the
direct
effect of ultrasound waves on fat deposits is carried out. Split tissues are sucked out by means of special
cannulas. The minimal traumaticity of VASER-liposuction allows the procedure to be performed where conventional
liposuction is not done. In particular, the operation can be performed on:
- Cheeks;
- The second chin;
- Hands;
- Legs and thighs (including the inner surface of the thigh, knees);
- Stomach;
- Back.
Also, with the help of the VASER device, it became possible to carry out such a complex procedure as
armpit liposuction. Previously, it was unavailable due to the fact that the layer of
subcutaneous fat was thin. In
addition, the use of a rather traumatic classical liposuction technique on such a sensitive area is unacceptable
due
to postoperative edema and hematomas.
During the operation, fat is converted into a liquid mass, the peculiarity of which is that the lipid cells
remain
alive. That is, carrying out additional cleaning allows them to be used for lipofilling in the future. This is a
procedure in which the patient`s adipose tissue is literally "added" to places where volume is needed. Mostly in
the
buttocks. That is, by removing fat from the abdomen and back with VASER-liposuction, you can also increase the
volume of the buttocks with it, creating an ideal body.
Before the operation
The preparatory stage before VASER liposuction includes several procedures. First of all, a consultation with a
plastic surgeon. During it, it is determined whether this type of liposuction is suitable for the client.
Further,
the scope of the procedure is limited. If lipofilling is planned– then the zone of introduction of fatty tissues
is
determined. Additionally, a consultation with an anesthesiologist is conducted – the appropriate type of
anesthesia
is selected.
Next comes an equally important stage of preparation for the operation – the delivery of tests. Despite the fact
that VASER-liposuction is a fairly simple and safe procedure, it still has some contraindications. These
include:
- chronic diseases in the acute phase;
- the patient`s age is less than 18 years;
- pregnancy, breast-feeding (the operation is performed under general anesthesia);
- diabetes mellitus;
- blood clotting disorder.
In addition, like any other plastic surgery procedure, VASER-liposuction is contraindicated for people with
mental
illnesses.
Before the operation, it is necessary to pass a standard package of tests; blood, urine. If there are chronic
diseases, a conclusion from the attending physician is necessary. The entire preparation for the operation takes
1-2
days (taking into account the results of the tests).
How is the operation going
VASER liposuction itself is quite simple, and does not take much time. As a rule, the operation lasts 2-4 hours.
Of
course, the duration directly depends on how many parts of the body the procedure will be performed on. So, for
example, liposuction of the cheeks or inner thighs takes much less time than liposuction of the abdomen, back.
The main stages of the procedure:
- Preparation for surgery - the surgeon marks the insertion points of the probes, the area of impact;
- Introduction of anesthesia;
- The procedure of removing adipose tissue itself;
-
Transfer of the patient to the ward for postoperative observation. As a rule, if the procedure is performed
only on
one zone, a few hours later, or the next day, the patient is discharged. If several zones are affected or an
additional lipofilling procedure has been performed, then the patient may need a longer stay in the
hospital, up to
1 week.
As a rule, in most cases, patients leave the clinic the very next day.
Recovery period
A huge advantage of VASER-liposuction is the absence of injury to connective tissue. Due to this, recovery after
the
procedure is much faster. In particular, during the procedure, the walls of thin blood vessels are not destroyed
–
this avoids the appearance of hematomas in the postoperative period.
The duration of recovery directly depends on the area and volume of the intervention. When performing surgery on
the
abdomen, back, buttocks and thighs, it is recommended to wear special compression underwear. Punctures for
surgery
are made very small, they heal quite quickly, scars do not remain after them.
Despite the apparent simplicity of the procedure, after it it is necessary to adhere to the following
recommendations:
- do not exercise for the first 2-3 months after surgery;
- for the first 2-3 weeks, refrain from taking a hot bath, visiting a sauna;
- give up smoking and alcohol consumption for 1-2 months;
-
to consolidate the result, you can additionally undergo a course of special massage, but this is possible
only after
consulting with a surgeon.
An important condition for maintaining the result obtained is proper nutrition and physical activity after the
completion of postoperative rehabilitation. This is one of the important conditions when performing liposuction
of
any type. Lack of physical activity and an unbalanced diet can lead to significant weight gain. Yes, fat does
not
form at the site of the operation – but it grows in other places.
What complications can occur?
The peculiarity of VASER-liposuction is that there are practically no complications after it. However, since
this
procedure is still an operation, complications may arise. The most common are:
-
the appearance of hematomas. Despite the fact that during the complication there is no effect on the blood
vessels,
the risk of damage, and as a consequence - the occurrence of hematomas, is still present;
-
edema is an unpleasant consequence of any procedure. It occurs due to a violation of the integrity of
tissues. As a
rule, it comes off 1-3 weeks after surgery;
-
violation of the relief. VASER liposuction involves the creation of an ideal relief, drawing cubes, the most
accurate and precise removal of fat from problem areas. However, non-compliance with the surgeon`s
recommendations
regarding postoperative recovery may provoke a change in the relief created only. This happens, in
particular, with
premature refusal to wear compression underwear;
-
the appearance of stretch marks. After VASER liposuction, it often happens that stretch marks on the skin,
especially in the abdomen and sides, become more noticeable. Modern cosmetics that fight this problem will
help to
correct the situation;
-
burn. It happens extremely rarely. The main cause of occurrence is a violation of the technology of the
procedure. A
burn on the skin may appear if it is touched by a probe that emits ultrasonic waves.
Advantages
Liposuction with the VASER device is a great way to get rid of fat deposits forever. This technology allows not
only
to eliminate fat, but also to give the body the desired curves, draw "cubes" on the stomach. The main advantages
of
VASER compared to other methods of liposuction are:
-
Minimal injury – modern technology allows you to directly affect adipose tissue without damaging nerve
endings or
blood vessels. Due to this, the painful sensations after the procedure are not so pronounced, and the
probability of
bruising is minimal;
-
The ability to get rid of fat on any part of the body. The usual methods do not allow you to remove a small
amount
of fat - for example, from the knees, cheeks, second chin. Thin VASER probes can be inserted even into
layers of fat
that are insignificant in thickness;
-
Absence of tuberosity after the procedure. Often, after classical liposuction, patients complain of a poor
result
due to unevenly removed fat. Bumps and depressions are noticeable on the skin, which, of course,
significantly
spoils the overall appearance. VASER-liposuction allows you to remove fat as evenly as possible, since
probes are
inserted into both surface and deep tissues;
-
Fast recovery. After the operation, only a slight swelling appears, which does not cause discomfort. You can
return
to your usual life in 2-3 weeks;
-
Affordable liposuction price. The liposuction price is quite affordable - especially if you
consider that the effect
is preserved forever.
How much does a perfect body cost
The cost of the operation is quite an important factor that can undoubtedly influence the client`s decision. But
a
lot depends on the area of the operation. For example, when performing liposuction of the hands, the price will
be
much lower than a similar procedure on the stomach or back. It should also be taken into account – if
lipofilling is
performed together with liposuction, the cost of the procedure increases. But at the same time, this combination
is
the best solution. After all, these two procedures allow a plastic surgeon to create the body you dreamed of in
a
few hours.
Sometimes it is not easy for patients to decide on liposuction. In fact, this procedure helps to get rid of
excess
fat, which often takes years to fight. In addition, do not forget about the obvious advantage of liposuction
over
the gym and diet. Fat does not return after surgery!
