Liposuction is a procedure aimed at removing adipose tissue. In our clinic, it is produced in several ways:

  • Ultrasound (VASER) liposuction. One of the modern ways. Fat deposits are affected by ultrasound – this leads to the destruction of exclusively fat cells. Capillaries and nerve endings are not affected, which greatly simplifies the recovery process and minimizes blood loss;
  • Laser liposuction. The latest technology. A thin emitter is inserted into the fat layer. The beam heats the lipid cells, which is why they are destroyed. At the same time, the surrounding tissues are not damaged, fat is easily removed through the cannula.

The choice of liposuction method directly depends on the desired result. If a transplant of extracted tissues is planned (for example, the formation of breasts or buttocks), then the easiest way is to use the VASER method. And if you need to remove a small amount of fat deposits, you can use the laser liposuction service. We will be happy to help you decide on the method of liposuction, based on your desires and needs.

The use of modern technologies allows liposuction to be performed on any part of the body. Often, exactly which area is being treated is the main factor when choosing a way to get rid of fat deposits. Most often we are contacted for liposuction of such areas:

  • Stomach. The most problematic area for both women and men. Liposuction allows you to get rid of it forever. The peculiarity of the method, and its obvious advantage is that fat cells do not recover after removal. Thus - just once having decided on a simple operation, you can further enjoy a beautiful flat stomach. Another plus of liposuction is that the methods of the operation allow for liposculpture - deposits are removed in such a way that abs appear on the abdomen in the future;
  • Back. Getting rid of fat in this part of the body allows you to remove ugly folds on the waist;
  • Hips. To keep your legs always slim, it is not necessary to torture yourself in the gym. Liposuction has a significant advantage – it helps to cope with deposits on the inner thighs. Fat does not go away there even with prolonged exercise;
  • Hands. Liposuction allows you to quickly and effectively remove fat. Most often, a laser method is used for this area – it provides not only the removal of deposits, but also helps to increase the elasticity of the skin (prevents its sagging);
  • Cheeks, second chin. Until recently, it was problematic to remove fat from these zones. The latest methods help to do this with ease, forever changing the oval of the face;
  • Knees.

The methods used make it possible to effectively fight fat deposits on any part of the body.

The main indication for liposuction is the presence of fat deposits on the body. Even if their number is insignificant, the methods we use let us to carry out the procedure with minimal injury to the surrounding tissues.

The advantage of liposuction is the ability to remove local fat deposits. For example, from the inner surface of the thighs, near the chest in the armpits, from the knees or neck. Another way to remove fat from these areas will be quite difficult.

Liposuction will help you forget about cellulite forever. Just one minimally invasive procedure – and the legs become slim again. Moreover, since a very tiny incision is made for the operation, traces of it will not be noticeable at all after a few weeks. But the result will remain forever.

Description of the Procedure

1

Preparation for Liposuction

Liposuction is a fairly simple procedure that does not require any special preparation. However, there are a few nuances that need to be taken into account.

  • 2 weeks before liposuction, it is recommended to stop drinking alcohol and smoking. Alcohol has a negative effect on blood clotting, and smoking significantly increases the healing period.
  • Women should be informed about the exact date of the last (or expected) period during a consultation with a doctor. Given the weakness of the body, on such days the operation is not performed.
  • If the operation is performed on the face or neck, at least 2 weeks before it, it is worth giving up aggressive cosmetic procedures – after them, the skin may be irritated, and any impact will have negative consequences.
  • The last meal should be no later than 8 hours before the operation. Therefore, the procedures are prescribed mainly for the first half of the day – so after waking up, the patient will not stay hungry for a long time, waiting for the procedure.

2

Performing Liposuction

After the patient is brought into the operating room, anesthesia is administered to him. Its type largely depends on the treated area. In some cases, you can limit yourself to anesthesia. If sequential liposuction is planned on several zones, general anesthesia is administered.

The specialist makes thin incisions on the skin, into which probes are inserted, providing an effect on adipose tissue. Since the probes are very thin, the incisions will be minimal – after the operation they heal without leaving a trace. In the case of abdominal liposuction, an incision is often made in the navel – so it will be invisible.

After that, the pumping of the tissue through the cannula begins (sometimes these processes take place simultaneously). If the operation involves the transplantation of adipose tissue, the resulting material is transferred to the laboratory, where it is purified and enriched with substances that promote more active tissue growth.

The duration of the operation directly depends on the treated area and the amount of adipose tissue to be removed. So, on average, liposuction of the hands takes about 40 minutes, legs - 1.2-2 hours, abdomen - 2-3 hours.

After the operation is completed, the patient is transferred back to the hospital room, where he is under the supervision of the staff until the anesthesia completely ends.

Frequently asked questions

  • WHAT IS VASER LIPOSUCTION?

    Vaser-liposuction is a procedure involving the removal of excess fat from the face and body using ultrasound. The procedure affects the deep and superficial layers of adipose tissue, provides the possibility of liposculpture - drawing the contours of muscles on the body. Vaser-liposuction is accompanied by low traumatism of tissues and nearby vessels, reducing fluid loss in the body.

  • WHY IS VASER BETTER THAN REGULAR LIPOSUCTION?

    Vaser liposuction removes three times more fat than the classic one. In addition, this technique has the following advantages:

    • It is possible to correct almost all areas of the body;
    • The ability to transfer fat from one part of the body to another;
    • Safe operation with low injury;
    • Performing high-definition lipomodeling;
    • Reduction of skin in areas of tissue injury;
    • Minimal blood loss.

    Vaser-liposuction is very popular due to the combination of high efficiency and safety.

  • HOW MANY DAYS DO I NEED TO STAY IN TURKEY FOR THIS OPERATION?

    During large-scale operations, recovery is carried out in the clinic. During this time, the patient is under the constant supervision of a doctor, undergoes pharmacotherapy for recovery, wears compression underwear, undergoes a complex of restorative procedures. Three months after liposuction, a specialist examination is required.

  • HOW IS THE RECOVERY PERIOD AFTER LIPOSUCTION?

    The duration of the recovery period depends on a number of factors, such as:

    • The scale of the operation. "Spot" liposuction requires less time to recover;
    • Individual characteristics of the body, the presence of chronic diseases (endocrine disorders, etc.).

    On average, the duration of rehabilitation after liposuction is from three to five weeks. After the operation, the patient remains in the hospital room for a day; if the operation was performed with small volumes, discharge from the hospital is carried out immediately. During recovery, it may be necessary to wear compression underwear, limit physical activity and take medications as prescribed by a doctor.

  • WHEN WILL THE SWELLING GO DOWN AFTER LIPOSUCTION?

    The peak of edema formation occurs 2-3 days after the procedure. You can get rid of edema a few months after surgery. In addition, it is possible to speed up the recovery process by maintaining a proper lifestyle and following all medical recommendations.

  • WHAT ARE THE COMPLICATIONS AFTER LIPOSUCTION?

    Liposuction is a simple procedure with minimal probability of complications. The main and rather rare complications:

    • The appearance of edema. This is due to the fact that connective tissue is injured during the operation. The technologies used make it possible to minimize such a negative impact;
    • Hematomas. May appear due to damage to small capillaries;
    • Unevenness of the skin, the appearance of bumps or hollows. This happens if during the procedure the doctor made a mistake, incorrectly positioned the probe, extracted too much tissue from a certain area. Our specialists have considerable experience, so they do not allow such mistakes;
    • Inflammation at the incision site. A rare complication that can occur during infection.

    Liposuction is a procedure that should not be feared. Just a few days in our clinic – and you will get a perfect body, getting rid of unpleasant fat forever.

  • WHEN CAN I RETURN TO NORMAL LIFE AFTER SURGERY?

    In order to speed up recovery and return to normal life faster, it is necessary to adhere to the following recommendations:

    • Abstain from alcohol and cigarettes for a week after surgery;
    • It is forbidden to visit the sauna and solarium during the month;
    • During the month, you should refrain from excessive physical activity.

    Often, a return to normal life is possible 2 weeks after the procedure. To recover faster, you need to observe aspects of a healthy lifestyle, limit physical activity, wear compression underwear for a month (if body liposuction was performed).

  • WHEN WILL I SEE THE FINAL RESULT AFTER SURGERY?

    Immediately after liposuction, the person`s face and body are covered with edema. During rehabilitation, active regenerative processes occur; some areas of the body swell, minor hematomas are possible. You can see the full result of rehabilitation in 5-6 weeks after the procedure, when the swelling finally subsides.

  • CAN FAT RETURN AFTER LIPOSUCTION?

    During liposuction, most of the lipid cells are removed from the selected area of the body, so it is impossible to increase fat at the site of liposuction. Despite this, an increase in the fat layer can affect nearby tissues. To prevent this, it is necessary to observe aspects of proper nutrition, ensure optimal physical activity, diagnose and treat endocrine diseases in a timely manner.

  • WHAT SHOULD I DO TO ACHIEVE THE BEST RESULT?

    To recover faster after liposuction, it is necessary to adhere to the following rules:

    • Wear compression underwear;
    • Abstain from alcohol and tobacco;
    • Do not take medications without medical advice;
    • Undergo physical therapy: massage, microcurrents, myostimulation;
    • Limit physical activity.

    2-3 months after liposuction, a doctor`s examination is required. The specialist examines the condition of the tissues after the procedure, determines the degree of skin sensitivity, the presence of edema and hematomas.
