What We Do

Dental implantation is the procedure in which a specialized fixture is inserted into the bone tissue to replace a missing tooth. First, the dentist implants a titanium pin, and after the implantation, a crown is placed on top of the implant, resembling the outer part of a natural tooth. A successful implant provides full functionality and aesthetic properties similar to a real tooth. There are several types of dental implants:

  • Root-form: This is the most common type used when there is sufficient healthy bone tissue to support the pin.
  • Plate-form: This design resembles a plate and is used to restore the front teeth when there is insufficient bone tissue for a root implant.
  • Combination: These implants are used in complex and advanced cases, particularly after severe oral injuries or trauma, such as accidents.
  • Subperiosteal: These implants are utilized when the condition of the bone tissue is not satisfactory.
  • Mini-implants: These implants are used to secure temporary structures for aesthetic purposes.

Laser treatment is an innovative method of dental care. Dentists utilize a powerful laser as their main tool, capable of targeting both the tooth's bone structure and enamel, as well as soft tissues. This treatment method is suitable for various procedures, including:

  • Cavity and gum disease treatment: The laser effectively removes affected areas, eliminating bacteria and germs. It can be used to treat conditions affecting the tooth's bone structure.
  • Teeth whitening: With the use of a laser, teeth can be whitened by 7-10 shades quickly and effectively. This is especially beneficial for individuals with sensitive teeth, as traditional mechanical whitening can be painful.
  • Correction of speech impairments: The laser is often employed to delicately trim the tongue's frenulum, as recommended by a doctor, to address certain speech disorders.
  • Removal of benign tumors: The laser is commonly utilized to remove benign tumors. This method ensures minimal discomfort and a speedy procedure.

Endodontic treatment, also known as root canal treatment, involves the removal of infection from the tooth's root canals and preventing the recurrence of the disease. This procedure is crucial as the root plays a vital role in the overall health of the tooth and the entire oral cavity. Maintaining a healthy root makes it easier and more cost-effective to treat other dental conditions. Endodontic treatment is used in the following cases:

  • Pulpitis: This refers to the inflammation of the tooth's inner tissue. Pulpitis is caused by bacteria from dental cavities and is accompanied by severe pain, especially during meals, consuming cold beverages, and at night. If left untreated, this condition can lead to the complete loss of the tooth.
  • Periodontitis: Inflammation in the tissues surrounding the tooth's root, which occurs due to an infection in the jawbone. It is often a result of various dental tissue diseases. If untreated, periodontitis can lead to tooth loss and further complications

The concept of a "Hollywood smile" in dentistry encompasses a range of procedures aimed at creating an ideal smile. Several key parameters are addressed to achieve the desired outcome:

  • Teeth color: The color of the teeth is a crucial aspect, and an ideal smile is often characterized by a bright, uniform, and white appearance.
  • Golden ratio: In dentistry, the golden ratio rule is often followed. According to this rule, when smiling, the corners of the eyes should align with the corners of the lips along an imaginary vertical line. This is considered the ideal proportion.
  • Visual tooth size: Teeth should visually decrease in size from the center towards the edges of the dental arch. The goal is to create the perception that the front two teeth are the largest, gradually decreasing in size towards the back teeth. The reduction should be proportionate and symmetrical.

Various methods can be employed to achieve a Hollywood smile, depending on the condition and characteristics of the teeth, as well as the desired outcome. Treatment plans are tailored individually, addressing larger issues before moving on to smaller concerns. An attending dentist will develop an individualized treatment plan based on these factors.

Veneers are thin overlays placed on teeth to enhance their aesthetic appearance. There are various types of veneers available, and one of the top choices is E-Max veneers.

  • E-Max veneers are highly durable, making them resistant to damage during normal use and operation.
  • Aesthetics play a vital role in selecting veneers. It is important for the veneers to closely resemble the color, size, and structure of natural teeth, providing a natural and seamless appearance.
  • The thickness of veneers is also a significant consideration. During the installation process, tooth enamel needs to be slightly removed. Thinner veneers result in less tooth enamel removal, minimizing potential damage and ensuring a quicker procedure. E-Max veneers are known for being some of the thinnest veneers available.
  • Staining is a common concern for veneer wearers, as food dyes can potentially discolor them, diminishing their aesthetic appeal. E-Max veneers are designed to resist staining, allowing them to maintain their appearance for a longer duration. Choosing E-Max veneers can provide both durability and aesthetics, with their thin design and resistance to staining.

Lumineers are an enhanced version of veneers that offer several advantages:

  • The key advantage of Lumineers is their ultra-thin design. They are so thin that there is usually no need to remove any enamel from the natural teeth. This means that your natural teeth remain intact and uninjured. Typically, Lumineers have a thickness of around 0 mm, which is 2-3 times thinner than most traditional veneers.
  • Lumineers have an extended lifespan and can last up to 20 years, while traditional veneers usually last 7-10 years. It's important to note that these are recommended lifespans, as Lumineers often last even longer.
  • Achieving a natural appearance is a crucial aspect of aesthetic dentistry. Due to their thinness, Lumineers can be easily installed to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth. The manufacturing process of Lumineers also focuses on accurately replicating the shape and color of natural teeth, further enhancing their natural look. Lumineers offer the advantage of being ultra-thin, long-lasting, and providing a natural appearance. Their minimal invasiveness and ability to closely mimic natural teeth make them a popular choice for enhancing dental aesthetics.

Teeth whitening is a procedure designed to enhance the shade of tooth enamel. White teeth are often associated with dental health and improved aesthetics. There are various methods of teeth whitening available:

  • Laser whitening: This is a highly effective and painless method. With laser whitening, it is possible to achieve significant results, whitening teeth by 7-10 shades. Prior to the procedure, the patient's teeth may require cleaning to remove tartar and plaque, which are important prerequisites for achieving optimal results.
  • Ultrasonic whitening: This method is suitable for individuals with thin enamel and increased tooth sensitivity. The procedure involves multiple gentle whitening sessions, typically lasting about 30 minutes each.
  • Photo-bleaching: This procedure involves the use of a special whitening gel containing hydrogen peroxide. While not the most gentle option, as peroxide can have a negative impact on tooth enamel, it is quite effective and can whiten teeth by 8-10 shades.

Zirconium, also known as white steel, is a remarkably strong material widely used in dentistry for various applications:

  • Strength and durability: Zirconium is exceptionally strong and exhibits superior strength compared to steel. This makes it an excellent choice for dental veneers and crowns, as it resists deterioration and cracking, resulting in long-lasting and high-quality dental restorations.
  • Hypoallergenic properties: Zirconium is hypoallergenic, making it a preferred material for individuals who may have allergies to traditional dental metals. This ensures compatibility and reduces the risk of adverse reactions in patients.
  • Aesthetic appeal: Zirconium veneers closely mimic the appearance of natural teeth, replicating their color and structure with remarkable accuracy. The material is light and thin, resulting in highly aesthetic dental restorations that blend seamlessly with the surrounding teeth.
  • Preservation of tooth structure: The use of zirconium restorations often minimizes the need for extensive tooth preparation, reducing the requirement for tooth reshaping. This means that the procedure is less traumatic and preserves the integrity of the natural tooth structure, which is especially beneficial for individuals with thin and sensitive enamel.

Dental Treatment

1

Before the Operation

Before the Procedure: Prior to starting any dental treatment, a comprehensive 3D scan of the entire oral cavity is performed. This scan provides a detailed assessment of the teeth and helps identify any issues that require correction. 3D modeling is currently the most accurate diagnostic method available, particularly for procedures involving bite correction and crown placement. If necessary, anesthesia is administered to ensure patient comfort during the procedure.

2

During the Operation

During the Procedure: In most cases, dental treatment begins with a thorough cleaning of the teeth, including the removal of tartar and plaque. This step is essential for accurately assessing the condition of the teeth and preventing future oral health problems. Brushing the teeth is particularly important when installing veneers or braces, as it establishes a reliable connection between these dental structures and the teeth. This is crucial for achieving optimal bite correction. Once the teeth are cleaned, the chosen procedure is carried out.

3

After the Operation

After the Procedure: Following any dental procedure, it is important to consult with the dentist for post-treatment care instructions. The dentist will recommend the appropriate toothpaste, toothbrush, and provide additional guidance for dental care. Proper dental care is essential for maintaining oral health and reducing the need for frequent dental visits. By following preventive measures and practicing good oral hygiene, patients can minimize future dental issues and save both time and money. In some cases, the dentist may suggest using plastic tooth protectors during sleep or provide guidance on food temperature and consistency to ensure optimal oral health.

Frequently asked questions

  • WHAT ARE E-MAX VENEERS MADE OF?

They are made of glass ceramics, 70% consisting of lithium disilicate crystals. Due to the special properties of the light transmission of the material, the color of such veneers is almost identical to the natural shade of enamel and that is why they merge with neighboring teeth.

There are 2 types of E-Max material processing: Press and CAD. The first is characterized by increased strength and a variety of shades, used for the production of ultra-thin veneers and bridges up to 3 units. The second one is inferior in strength, but much more affordable, only single crowns and standard veneers are made using this technology.

  • IS THE E-MAX MATERIAL SAFE FOR THE BODY?

Yes, this has been proven by many years of practice. Glass ceramics have neutral properties and do not cause rejection by the body`s immune system. It is biocompatible with the tissues of the gums and teeth, so it is extremely safe and retains its qualities for many years. To date, no cases of allergic reaction or development of pathology caused by the use of this material have been identified.

  • WHICH IS BETTER: ZIRCONIUM OR E-MAX?

It all depends on the application area. It is better to install E-Max on the front teeth, since it surpasses its competitor in aesthetic qualities and there is no need to create a frame for it. On the other hand, zirconium itself is stronger (if not lined), so it is used in the manufacture of bridges and prosthetics with implants in the area of chewing teeth.

  • WHAT IS ZIRCONIUM?

Zirconium is a natural mineral which dioxide is actively used in various fields of medicine. Due to its rigidity and strength, it has been used for many years to manufacture a variety of prostheses, including dental ones. It is used in the creation of frames for implants, abutments and crowns.

It is a versatile material that is easy to process. Zirconium can be given almost any shape, but at the same time it is quite reliable, and products made of it are guaranteed to last from 10 to 20 years. In addition, it has a low thermal conductivity, which protects the teeth from temperature fluctuations.

  • IS ZIRCONIUM SAFE FOR THE BODY?

Sure. Zirconium dioxide is extremely inert in its physico-chemical parameters. It does not contribute to the occurrence of allergies, galvanization or the immune response of the body. It is perfectly embedded not only in specially prepared cavities, but also on the remains of natural teeth.

  • WHAT SHADES OF VENEERS CAN BE INSTALLED?

For a long time, the snow-white color of teeth was in fashion, but now there is a noticeable trend for natural tones. To ensure an accurate selection of the shade of the micro prosthesis, dentists have developed a special veneer color chart. It consists of 4 color classes, each of which has a letter designation:

    • Red-brown;
    • Red-yellow;
    • Gray;
    • Red-gray.

Classes, in turn, are divided into 4 shades (according to the degree of brightness), each of which is assigned a number from 1 to 4. As a result, 16 different tones are available to clients to achieve maximum naturalness of implants.

  • Does it hurt to install veneers?

No. There are well-developed rules for installing microprostheses, involving required anesthesia. But there may be a slight discomfort when dissecting the enamel of a natural tooth or gum retraction. At the same time, the procedure takes place quickly enough and most often the patient does not have time to focus on unpleasant sensations.

  • Do veneers need to be bleached?

This cannot be done, but it is not forbidden to use professional cleaning. The material from which veneers are made does not change its color throughout the entire service life. Most often, darkening occurs due to lack of proper dental care, as well as abuse of coloring drinks (coffee, tea, etc.) or products.

A defect of the veneers is also possible, in this case it is necessary to consult a doctor for timely replacement. You need to clean them very carefully, without strong pressure, and also do not use cleaning products that include abrasive substances.

  • What`s the difference between veneers and lumineers? Which one is better?

Veneers are the basic version of ceramic plates, the size of which ranges from 0.5 to 1.2 mm. Such pads are attached to the surface of the teeth subjected to preliminary turning. Due to this effect, the enamel is thinned and their sensitivity increases.

Lumineers are coverings made using a new advanced technology. Their thickness does not exceed 0.3 mm. They are absolutely safe for enamel, and with proper care can last up to 20 years. But because of their features, they can hide only small cracks, slight curvature and yellowness of the teeth. In addition, lumineers are significantly more expensive.

  • How long does it take to create a Hollywood smile?

A lot depends on the specific characteristics and state of human health. The effect can be achieved only after several visits to the dentist. If there are no problems the whole procedure can take 4-5 days, but as a rule it takes up to 2 weeks.

  • How long does the result of a Hollywood smile last?

With proper maintenance the effect will remain throughout the entire service life of veneers (about 20 years). They do not change their shape, color and transparency. Possible darkening or turbidity is most often the result of regular eating coloring products and drinks (coffee, tea, etc). If such a problem occurs, it is enough to use professional teeth cleaning.

  • What is the difference between professional and home teeth whitening?

The procedure of professional whitening is carried out by a doctor in a dental clinic using special equipment and preparations. It is much more expensive, but also significantly more efficient. There are several types of whitening : cabinet whitening, chemical whitening, laser whitening, intra-channel whitening and photo whitening.

Cosmetic effects on teeth are performed at home, and equipment for it is usually purchased at a pharmacy. This is a more gentle procedure, in which caps, strips, gels, varnishes and pastes with less active components are used, than in professional bleaching. That is why the home whitening is more affordable.

  • Is it possible to whiten fillings and crowns?

No. The features of the materials they consist of do not allow effectively bleaching fillings and crowns. Of course, you can whiten the teeth themselves, but then the aesthetic component of the procedure will be lost, because the difference in color will be very striking. In addition, such an impact leads to a weakening of the tooth enamel, which means a recurrence of caries. So it is necessary to consult a doctor beforehand and evaluate the prospects of bleaching.

  • How long does the result last after teeth whitening?

It depends on the patient`s lifestyle and compliance with the doctor`s recommendations. In addition, the more the enamel was lightened, the longer the effect will last. With proper dental care, the results of professional whitening will be visible for 3-4 years. If you ignore the prescribed restrictions, the effect will last only a couple of months.

  • What kind of food can I eat after teeth whitening?

It is recommended to focus on products that do not contain coloring pigments: white meat, white fish, egg white, potatoes, butter and sunflower oil, boiled rice, pasta, porcini mushrooms, light vegetables and fruits, boiled cabbage, transparent drinks.

Sweets, sauces, most spices, herbs, vinegars, marinades and products containing acids and an abundance of sugar, as well as coffee, tea and colored drinks are banned. Such a diet should be followed for 5 days after the whitening procedure.
