BBL - Brazilian Butt Lift in Turkey Before and After Photos
These BBL before and after photos show patients who planned a Brazilian butt lift in Turkey with Plastic Surgery Turkey Group and were operated on by the treating surgeon at a contracted institution. Most after photos were taken on the operating table, straight after the fat transfer, so the buttocks look fuller than they will once part of the fat has been reabsorbed. Each caption says when the photo was taken.

How to read these photos
4 of the 5 after photos in this gallery were taken on the operating table, right after surgery. Swelling, bruising and taping follow, and the shape keeps settling for months, so the healed result will look different from these photos.
Every photo shows one individual patient. Results vary with anatomy, skin quality, health and aftercare, and these photos are not a promise of your outcome. The treating surgeon will tell you what is realistic for you at consultation.
What to look at in these photos
A Brazilian butt lift takes fat by liposuction, usually from the abdomen, flanks and back, and transfers the purified fat into the buttocks. Each pair therefore shows two changes: a slimmer waist and lower back where fat was removed, and more projection where it was placed. Judge the side view for projection and the back view for the waist-to-hip curve.
Why the on-table shape is not the final shape
Not all transferred fat survives; part of it is reabsorbed over the first months. Surgeons often allow for some fat loss when planning, so the buttocks usually look fuller straight after surgery. How much stays differs from person to person. Healed photos taken months later are the fair comparison, and how to read BBL photos explains what else to check.
Risks to discuss first
Fat transfer to the buttocks carries specific risks, including fat embolism, which is rare but can be life-threatening. Technique matters for this risk, so ask your surgeon how the fat is placed and how the risk is managed. Whether you have enough donor fat, and what volume is realistic, is part of the BBL candidate assessment.
How the result develops
- First weeks: Your surgeon will give specific instructions on sitting and lying positions. A compression garment is usually worn over the liposuction areas.
- Weeks 3–8: Bruising and swelling of the liposuction areas fade. The buttocks often look larger than they will in the long run.
- Months 3–6: The fat that has survived settles, and the shape becomes more comparable to healed photos.
- After about six months: The result is usually more settled. Large weight changes can still alter it, because transferred fat behaves like other body fat.
